Our specificities / principles

We strongly believe that projects are more likely to succeed and deliver business value when clear business goals are defined upfront, all stakeholders are committed and empowered to make decisions within their area of expertise, collaboration between project members is fluid, the project manager behaves as a servant-leader, quality never becomes a variable and when efficient and transparent communication is in place.

Firm Foundation

This is the baseline defining the project objectives, it should cover the business justification (“why”), a prioritized list of requirements (“what”), the approach to reach the results (“how”) and a high-level schedule to achieve the results (“when”).

Collaboration, commitment and empowerment

People working together effectively is key to reach success. For us, it means adopting an attitude of collaboration, cooperation and commitment from everyone involved. We also encourage empowerment of the most capable resources (in terms of knowledge and experience) to make decisions at the right time in the project lifecycle

Servant-leadership philosophy

The servant-leader focuses primarily on the growth and well-being of project members, he shares power, puts the needs of others first, and helps people develop and perform as highly as possible. Managing an empowered team requires a facilitative style from the project manager.

Never compromise quality

Quality is often considered a variable in projects (eg. reduced testing time). We believe agreed level of quality should be fixed and never compromised. Projects have to balance conflicting dimensions (time, cost, scope and quality). If project goes off track, scope should be used as a variable (by dropping less priority features).

Transparent Communication

Poor communication is usually cited as the biggest single cause of project failure. When driving a project, we encourage face-to-face, informal and transparent communication at all levels using boards and collaborative tools such as Teams, Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, etc
