Life & Non Life Insurance – Back and Front-end

Insurance is one of our core competences. We have gained expertise in several areas (motor, fire, property, liabilility, travel). We have been involved in many projects aiming at replacing or improving existing policy / claim management systems (back-ends) and building new (web based) front ends. In those projects, change management was a key dimension.

Telecom – OSS/BSS

Support the selection and implementation of several OSS/BSS components at major Belgian telecom companies (order management, billing, account receivable). We brought value in specifying the client needs, selecting the best software / provider, elaborating the contractual documents and supporting the client during the whole implementation traject.

Data migration projects 

In several projects (Telecom, Insurance), we have been confronted to the need of transferring data from one system to another. This requires a well-defined approach and specific expertise. Data migration can turn your project into failure if essential elements are not properly addressed (defining the strategy, planning, mapping the source data to the target, assessing the source data quality, automating the extract-load process, testing the whole process and the individual data, reconciling).

Global projects

We have been involved in several global projects (teams based in multiple countries around the world or similar implementations at local levels driven globally), supporting a local country implement global processes and tools or supporting the global or local entity.

Project Management Office

We have helped large organization build or strengthen a PMO (centralized team that establishes and oversees project management standards). Although the benefits of having a PMO is undisputable, one of the difficulties lies in correctly positioning the cursor between a supporting and controlling role. Another challenge today is to try and define project approaches suitable for most projects of the organization.
